Sally Launder is an experienced general illustrator specialising in portraits and figurative work. Versatile in various media (traditionally in watercolours, coloured pencil, acrylic and line) her technique ranges from the freer, looser style to a tighter, more realistic rendering, while her subjects include children, anatomy, flora and fauna.

Her work covers all areas of illustration including editorial, advertising, television, animation and, in particular, publishing and educational children's books.

Several of her images have appeared in the Association of Illustrators annual.
